About Mr. Fulton
Mr. Fulton is a Denverite who grew up just down the street. Having done so, he loves Denver and cares deeply about its children, families, and communities. Parker holds a B.A. in Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado and is licensed to teach grades K-12, and he also holds an endorsement for gifted education and is a CDE certified Gifted Education Specialist. In addition, he holds Juris Doctor and Master of Public Policy degrees from the University of Denver, where his areas of specialty were within education policy, family law, and domestic and international relations.
Mr. Fulton is passionate about building high-quality educations for kids through promoting (1) humanitarian-based teaching practices and accountability metrics; (2) community-based practices that promote self-actualization within systems of education; and (3) holistic approaches to learning that recognize the values and virtues of all people. He is devoted to holding himself and his students accountable to rigorous academic and humanitarian standards, and he is thrilled to be in service to the children and families of the Southmoor community.
Mr. Fulton has demonstrated success in working with students of vastly varied abilities, interests, cultures, ethnicities, socio-economic statuses, and medical and/or neurological conditions. He appreciates and loves all students as humans, and wastes no energy attributing to students societal labels and barriers. He loves teaching and learning because of the opportunities they provide for the sharing of knowledge and passion, and each year he aims to share his passions with his students while at the same time gaining theirs in return. Additionally, Mr. Fulton loves teaching because of the ability within it to impact families, communities, and the world at large.
Mr. Fulton lives in Denver with his dog, Jackson. In his free time, when he's not reading cases or plotting schemes, he enjoys reading for fun, studying politics, hiking, weightlifting, and playing and listening to music.
